Contract automations can now start from any pipeline

Contract stage automations used to run only on the contract type’s primary pipeline. Now, if you pick a stage from a secondary pipeline, such as Financing reaching Pre-Approval or Marketing going live, the automation runs whenever a contract moves into that stage, or from it to another stage. Clearing the secondary stage does not run it.

This works only from now on. Contracts already sitting in a secondary stage are not picked up retroactively. An automation runs the next time a contract actually moves.

An automation with no stages selected still runs only on primary pipeline moves, so automations built to watch any stage change keep working as before.

When you choose stages for the trigger, they are now grouped under each pipeline’s name, and you can collapse each group. Once selected, a stage shows which pipeline it belongs to, so two stages with the same name in different pipelines can’t be mixed up.
